Group Chief Executive Officer
David Fraser
MBA, GAICD, FAICD, FGIA, FAIM, A FINDavid has over 38 years’ experience in the automotive industry and has held senior sales, marketing and general management roles over the past two decades. Prior to his appointment as Capricorn’s Group Chief Executive Officer in July 2019 he was CEO of the co-operative’s Automotive Division from 2013.
Before joining Capricorn in 2006 David was Group General Manager of Supply Direct, a wholly owned subsidiary of ASX listed Ausdrill, and responsible for its operations in Australia, United Kingdom, South Africa and West Africa. He was also a former Associate Director and Group General Manager of ASX listed Coventry Group Ltd and was responsible for the sales, marketing and administration of the Group’s automotive businesses.
His 35+ years’ experience and his thorough understanding of the market through his time in senior executive positions including how the supply and value chains interconnect to create and satisfy customer demand gives him a unique understanding and insight into the automotive industry both in Australia and globally.
In 2022 David was entered into the AAAA Hall of Fame in recognition of his leadership, innovation, vision, work ethic and integrity which has made a positive and measurable impact to the ongoing development of Australia's Automotive Aftermarket Industry.
He is a current Director of various Capricorn subsidiary Boards, Director of the Business Council of Co-operatives and Mutuals, Australia’s only peak body for co-operatives and mutuals across all industries, Councillor of the Co-operatives Federation of WA, and a Director, and current Chair, of the Western Australian Motor Industry Foundation. He is also a former Director and past President of the Australian Automotive Aftermarket Association.
David holds a Master of Business Administration, is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and has completed Harvard Business School’s Advanced Management Program. He is a Fellow of each of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, the Australian Institute of Management and the Governance Institute of Australia.

Chief Executive Officer Automotive
Bradley Gannon
B.Comm, LLB (Hons), GradDipACG, GAICD (OM), FGIA, FCG, FAIMBradley is Chief Executive Officer Automotive of Capricorn Society. Bradley is accountable for the leadership and overall profitability of Capricorn's Automotive Division which operates in all parts of Australia and New Zealand. His role includes developing and driving short, medium and long-term growth initiatives, new product development, Member and supplier services and expansion into new markets. His accountabilities also include Capricorn Financial Services, Credit Management, Share Registry and Capricorn Travel and Events.
Bradley was appointed as Company Secretary/General Counsel to Capricorn Society Limited in 2008 and his roles at Capricorn have included management of Capricorn group's company secretariat, legal and shares function, risk management, compliance and internal audit frameworks as well as Capricorn's Group Marketing function.
Bradley has been admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of WA and High Court of Australia. Bradley has a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and a Bachelor of Commerce (with a major in General Management), both from the University of Western Australia.
Bradley has held senior positions including being a Partner with the Perth based law firm Solomon Brothers and his background has involved the provision of advice and services relating to corporate governance and contractual management.
Bradley has passed the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD) Course Diploma requirements achieving Order of Merit status. He has also successfully completed the Chartered Secretaries Australia Graduate Diploma of Applied Corporate Governance receiving awards for National Dux Corporate Accountability, State Dux for Corporate Governance and Corporate Financial Management and the Ian Falconer Rio Tinto National award for academic excellence.
Bradley has also completed the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School.
Bradley is a current Director of various Capricorn subsidiary Boards, WA State Councillor of the Governance Institute of Australia and Independent Director of the Western Rock Lobster Council.

Group Chief Financial Officer
Damon de Nooyer
FCPA, B.Com, MAHRIDamon joined Capricorn as Group Chief Financial Officer in December 2023 and leads the Finance, Risk Advisory and Internal Audit functions for the Capricorn Group.
Damon has over 20 years’ experience in accounting and finance and over 10 years senior executive experience providing strategic leadership in finance, human resources, business services and administration functions. Damon has extensive experience in financial services, including insurance and investment functions.
Prior to commencing at Capricorn, Damon was the Chief Finance Officer at the Insurance Commission of Western Australia. With assets of over $7.5 billion, the Insurance Commission is one of the largest financial services institutions in Western Australia. Damon was responsible for the Corporate Services Division including the finance, human resources and business services functions. Damon also provided secretarial support to the Audit and Risk Committee and chaired the Strategic Initiatives and IT Governance Steering Committee.
Damon has experience in building a team culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and customer focus.
Before joining the Insurance Commission, Damon held finance roles within the Tasmanian State Government.
Damon holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Tasmania. Damon is a Fellow Certified Practising Accountant and is a professional member of the Australian HR Institute.

Chief Technology Officer
Mary Karborani
BEng, MBAMary is a highly accomplished IT leader with a wealth of experience in IT, project management and leading business transformation. Mary has a Bachelor of Engineering and a Master of Business Administration and is working towards her Doctor’s Degree - Business Administration.
Mary has previously held roles at CBH Group, Dale and Waters, Wesfarmers and Chevron. As the Head of Business Systems at CBH Group, Mary managed complex technology programs and a multi-million dollar portfolio. This included the successful delivery of 53 enterprise-wide projects delivered on time and budget between 2019-2022.
Mary also successfully completed a three-phase enterprise-wide strategy to leverage cloud technologies, modernise legacy systems and consolidate applications yielding a multi-million dollar saving for CBH Group.

Chief Executive Officer of Capricorn Risk
Rodney Scanlon
BCom, CARod was appointed as Chief Executive Officer of Capricorn Risk Division in May 2023.
As CEO Risk, Rod is accountable for providing strategic guidance, oversight, and leadership for the effective stewardship of the Capricorn Risk Division, achieving the prescribed strategic outcomes and profits, while controlling major functions relating to the operation and administration of the business units through reporting and management. His accountabilities include serving as an executive director providing corporate oversight on Capricorn wholly owned subsidiary companies such as Capricorn Insurance Services (CIS), Capricorn Risk Services (CRS) and Capricorn Mutual Management (CMM). Through the Risk Division, Rod manages the operational and strategic planning for Capricorn Mutual Limited (CML).
Rod has over 20 years of experience in the insurance industry and joined Capricorn Risk after a successful 11-year career at Suncorp, where he held a number of senior and executive management roles. This included owning the planning and reporting function for an $8b business – providing a breadth of exposure to the pillars of a very sophisticated General Insurance business.
Rod holds a Bachelor of Commerce and is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants.
Rod joined Capricorn in December 2021 as Head of Finance where he was responsible for the end-to-end finance function of Capricorn Risk Division, with a key part of the role ensuring the financial performance of the business was well understood by all internal and external stakeholders.

General Counsel & Company Secretary
Susannah Haines
LLB, BA (Hons), GradDipACGRMSusannah was appointed to the role of General Counsel and Company Secretary in May 2023. She previously worked for Capricorn as a Legal Counsel and Company Secretary of several Capricorn’s subsidiaries for eight years between 2011 and 2021, which has given her a deep understanding of Capricorn’s business.
Susannah has been admitted as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of WA, has a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Arts, both from Flinders University in South Australia, and a Graduate Diploma of Applied Risk Management and Corporate Governance from the Governance Institute of Australia.
Susannah has held roles as a Senior Legal Counsel at WesTrac Pty Ltd, and Legal Counsel at MCC Mining and Bio Innovation SA.
Susannah is a current Director of various Capricorn subsidiary Boards and Dine For Life, an Australian not-for-profit with a global vision to end human trafficking and the exploitation of women and children.
