After hearing many expressions of dissatisfaction from its members about insurance, the Board of Capricorn Society Limited decided to seek an alternative.
Capricorn Mutual Limited was formed in 2003 to offer a commercially feasible alternative to insurance exclusively for members of Capricorn Society Limited in Australia and New Zealand.
Capricorn Mutual is not an insurance company, it is a discretionary mutual operated for the benefit of its members. Since commencing operations Capricorn Mutual has paid over AU$15 million in claims.
